报告摘要:We give an introduction to quivers and their representations. We introduce Gabriels structure theorem for associative algebras and Gabriels ADE-classification theorem for quivers of finite type. The talk will only assume knowledge of basic abstract algebra.

报告人简介：Alvar Grøtting is a graduate student of mathematics at theNorwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) working on mathematical foundations for machine learning. His background is in algebra and representation theory.
